Pipe Bursting
Many underground utility lines have become old and require replacement. A substantial amount of the underground lines have been in place for decades. To replace these lines with open trench construction is very disruptive, and sometimes impossible. Pipe bursting can replace pipe with minimal ground disturbance.
The head is driven through the ground with the replacement pipe attached. The old pipe is destroyed, and the fragments pushed the outside, completely replacing the old pipe.
